Meeting the growing demand
With a population of 27,000, Pukekohe is the 24th largest urban area in New Zealand and the third largest in the Auckland region. Its economy is centred on agriculture and significant growth is anticipated over the next 30 years. Around 1700 hectares of land has been identified for future urban development in the Pukekohe area.
‘Unlock Pukekohe’, Eke Panuku’s masterplan for Pukekohe, envisions a town with 50,000 more people. The masterplan describes initiatives that will encourage new growth, improve access, attract businesses and services, and enhance local community identify. Find out more about the Masterplan here.
Additionally, the regions surrounding Pukekohe - South Auckland, Upper Waikato and the Coromandel Peninsula - are experiencing growth and renewal. In total, we believe the potential patient base for Franklin Day Surgery is more than 600,000 people.
Population growth isn’t the only thing fuelling the need for our medical hub. New Zealand’s over-burdened public health system is driving more patients into the private system, and this trend is reflected in the growing uptake of health insurance.
Join Franklin Day Surgery as a practitioner, investor or both
We invite you to look closely at becoming part of the Franklin Day Surgery vision. We are seeking practitioners to provide services at the centre, as well as investors for the development. There is obviously a crossover between these two opportunities, for practitioners who also wish to be shareholders.
Development plans and a financial forecast report are available on request. For more information, or to set up a meeting, please send us an email.
